Keg at the Berkhamsted beer shop in Berkhamsted, Herts. An orange/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty, caramel aroma. Tastes hoppy, malty, caramel, slight sweetness with a bitter finish. Highly drinkable APA and certainly the best beer that I have had from Red Squirrel.

Cask at the Falcon (JDW), High Wycombe. Orange-amber with a moderate white head. Spicy citrus hop is well balanced by caramel and Weetabix malt that gives a smooth rich mouthfeel to this flavoursome beer. Good stuff.

Cask gravity Firkin Ale House Folkestone. Clear dark amber lasting white head. Malty grapefruit hop aroma. Its ok not as hoppy aroma as it could be bitter on the finish. Caramel rather than diacetyl. Not great though

Bottle at home split with Sarah pciked up at the Brewery shop in Chesham. Clear deep orange coloured pour with a big off white head. Aroma is some smoke phenol, piney hops, light cirtus and some tobacco. Flavour is sweetish biscuity malts, decent wet grassy, piney hops. Firm smooth grassy bitterness. Palate is highish carbonation medium sweet. Again that hint of smokey phenol lingers in the back end. Decent English IPA.

Had this in bottle at Bracelands Campsite, nr Coleford, Forest of Dean, Glos, Saturday 6th September 2014 purchased from Jacks, Goring. Pours orangey gold with off white large fluffy head. The hoppiness has waned a little, but it is still there a touch furry and with a little grapefruit. Some toffee and maltiness, pretty good. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask (Isis, Sunderland) - Amer in colour. Marmalade, pine and peach in the aroma. Grapefruit, apricot and sultanas in the taste. Nice, but not as hoppy as I was expecting (not necessarily) it would be.

Served on cask and dispensed into an English half pint jug at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - Jan ’12 Pours to a clear golden hue with a small white head, looks just the ticket when held up to the light! Lots of hops in the aroma for an English IPA - sweet malt on the nose and also citrus notes. Toasted malts, orange/grapefruit flavour amongst the hopping and a little caramel, a fairly sweet finish with little in the way of bitterness. A medium bodied beer with just the right level of carbonation.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 13th May 2012. Copper with white head soon decaying to a ring.. Lacing mainly at first. Quite a hoppy and yeasty aroma. Malty and quite sweet in-mouth, with a citric hoppy tang. Boiled-sweet notes. Citric fruitiness and maltiness dying down to leave something of a bitter finish. Light texture.

Cask at The Harp, London. Pours a clear gold with a foamy, white head. Sweet malt aroma, some caramel and toast, light citrus. Medium sweet flavor, some dough and toast, light earth and hay. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, sweet toasty malts, mild caramel, light leafy hops. Pretty well balanced beer.

I have wrote down "Redwood American Pale Ale", but I suppose that it is an error and actually it is this IPA as it is 5.4% and "Redwood". Clear copper color, mostly vanishing white head. Berryish, hayish nose. Medium-bodied. Lots of apples, apple juice in the flavor. Flat mouthfeel. Like drinking sweet "green wine" (Vinho Verde). Not in top condition?
