Tap at Hetedik Lépcső. Jet black with long lasting beige head. It’s more like an American stout imo, it’s unquestionably bitter, but lacks the pronounced jop profile of an IPA. Creamy body, soft carbo.

From keg at HBF 2023 as DBC IPA. Poured dark brown in color. Roasty, somewhat ashy aroma, notes of roastedness and pine in flavor. Dry finish. Good.

On tap at the festival in Domažlice. Shared with Ogi. Dark brown, small tan head. Lightly hoppy, citrusy, herbal, roasty. Hints of honey and caramel. Nice balance. Quite bitter. Fresh hoppy flavour. Nice citrusy and herbal character with a roasty background. Medium body, some sweetness, light finish. Great balance, very good.

Thick dense dark cream head, stable over deep brown-black beer. Chocolate, straw, Hessian sacks, dry hops, black syrup. More of the same, smoke (not peated), straw, dry hops, smoked liquorice, milksugar. Feels well-bodied, very slick, and ultra dry finish despite the lactose I suspect. Very good twist on black IPA! The extra's blend in very well into the IPA! Thanks to Ladislav!
