Our flagship IPA is brewed in the Northwest style and inspired by the 1947 film noir of the same name starring the three Roberts (Mitchum, Ryan, and Young). Crossfire has a bold hop presence with notes of citrus and pine. Pale, Munich, and Crystal Malts provide a strong malt backbone, making this IPA extremely balanced and drinkable.

Tap at Grub. Quite tropical, bit of pine and resin, bit pineapple and mango maybe, bit of sharpness that is maybe reminiscent of grapefruit. Bit of malty sweetness. Alright. Lots of bits.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber orange with a tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has bitter citrus with a touch of earthiness and a bread backbone. Flavor has a bitter citrus and pine note with a bit of earthy grain backing.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a hazy deep amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, sweet fruit and malt. Medium-bodied with a moderately bitter fruity hops character and notes of toasted malt and pine. The finish is hoppy with a lingering fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.
