This classy beer represents the perfect marriage between the fresh accents and slightly acidic flavour of the black cherries. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a mixed fermentation beer, with every hectolitre containing up to 13 kilos of fruit! Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a perfect blend of Oud Bruin and pale beer aged on cherries. The beer is matured for 18 months, bringing out the very best of its intense flavour.

Gushing to rusty red-brown beer, clear, under a huge, dirty pink whipped eggwhite-like head, leaving shards of lace. Sweet cherries, cherrystones. Sweet, but smelling natural. Sweet-sourish. Again real fruit, but in the end a bit too sweet for its own good. Brown candi sugar. Very slick to oily MF. Good (too) good carbonation. Still a classic - but nothing will ever equal the draught Liefmans Kriek as poured @ Kulminator in days of yore.

Heavy vinegar aroma, the flavor doesn’t match. Cherries are a little muted, there’s a bit of a boozy sugar cane/rum finish. Pretty complex.

Bottle shared with Johan 18.11.25. Mahogany amber. Fine aroma and taste of cherries, cherry stones and pale malt. Excelleny!

dark ruby color, big white head. aroma of sour cherries. flavour is quite tart and sour, and a very wonderful cherry flavour. Very very nice flemish sour!!

Pours a deep dark red with a foamy pink head. Aroma of cherry, oak, barnyard funk. Taste is cherry sweetness, candy sugar, tart cherries. Nice combination of sweet and sour here.
