This classy beer represents the perfect marriage between the fresh accents and slightly acidic flavour of the black cherries. Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a mixed fermentation beer, with every hectolitre containing up to 13 kilos of fruit! Liefmans Kriek-Brut is a perfect blend of Oud Bruin and pale beer aged on cherries. The beer is matured for 18 months, bringing out the very best of its intense flavour.

Bottle, blended 2020. Brown with hints of red, small pinkish head. Nose of tart sour cherries, promising, like pie with lattice top crust cooling on the window. Fine carbonation for a great mouthfeel, nice balance of fruit flavor and moderate sweetness. Doesn't taste super artificial and overdone like many krieks do, though a little bit. Not super complex but very enjoyable.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma beige fine media persistenza, color ambrato carico / rosso limpido, al naso legno aceto ciliege e leggero funky, in bocca è morbida ciliege mandorle Cherry mirtilli rossi aceto note legnose, carbonazione leggera, corpo rotondo, acidula, molto dolce con amaro percettibile. Purple hued head left a cover on a reddish brown body. Cherry & biscuit aroma. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated & dry on the back. Cherry, biscuit & white wine tastes with a sour tangy finish. Quite refreshing & cleans the palate.

Bottle 0.33l, vintage 2015. Lightly cloudy, reddish colored. AROMA- sour cherry, sweet, strawberry compot, plums, aged, touch of barrel character. FLAVOR- moderately sweet, just slightly sour, slightly bitter, cherry, strawberry and plum jam. Medium to fuller bodied. Sweet and tasty.
