Scotch Ale / Wee Heavy Regular
Score
6.89
ABV: 7.5% IBU: 17 Ticks: 44
Building upon a Scottish "Wee Heavy", this unique beer was developed to provide a strong caramel malt flavour with enough salt to give it a bit of a bite. Stronger in alcohol, this beer starts off sweet but remains fairly light to drink.

So you think B.C. will do it now that D.V. has waxed his wife? Haven’t seen this in ages, not sure yet. HEad is okay on this thing, dark copper body, aroma of that bad dark lager you got from the guy in front of the liquor store when you were 16. When getting shitfaced was considered cultural, when the Railway Club was still a thing, instead of another Asian condo development. But that’s Vancouver and that’s why we drink, eh? This is like sucking down a liquified bag of Christmas chocolates from Purdy’s holee wow this is sweet, like Oakridge mall’s chocolate store and liquor store put all their stock in a blender and sold the result in bottles. Super cloying, maybe good for a dark dreary Vancouver winter night but this is harsh stuff that needs serious sipping to appreciate.

light brown color. Very sweet malty. The mouth has a whallop of caramel, cherries and lacks pettiness. Not a scotch ale. With some cherries in the finish. Ok but directionless
