Tap at Gremlin. Nice. Decent caramel character, light treacle. Nice. Possibly a little thin and of course lacking carb, classic AJB style, but it works I think.

Kinda ugly plain brown clear color. Very malty sweet peaty nose. Light body, very easy to drink, but not exciting though well made.

Tap at Gremlin. LIght cocoa and caramel nose with some light vegetable notes. Thin body and slightly watery mouthfeel. Some light persimmon and more baker’s chocolate and faint hop bitterness on the palate. Needs a little work I suppose. --- Beer merged from original tick of Scotch Two Penny Ale on 19 Aug 2016 at 10:21 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. A bit too thin for me but maybe ok for a two penny.
