2012 bottle from Taniguchi. Nice, mild nose, cherry, yogurt, light vinegar, chocolate. Lovely deep red, lace. Woody flavor, creamy, vanilla and yogurt, cherry, lightly acidic, bitter finish. very woody, actually. Low carbonation. Full but rather light. Decent but a bit lacking in the flavor department, and way too expensive.

On tap at Bir & Fud. 6.2% This sour ale is a rose tinted reddish brown with a musty cork + tart berry nose. Light bodied with an effervescent carbonation giving it a soft mouthfeel. The taste is really pleasing tart berry/cherry with a bit of maltiness. Very nice.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe for Big Wood 2014, pours an opaque cloudy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out funky BO notes, some oak and feet. Flavour brings out notes of feet, dry vinous notes, and oak. Extremely well-balanced, dry and complex. Wonderful stuff.
