Loud, sassy, and relentless, the Rude Parrot has an insatiable appetite for hops! Brewed with Vienna, light Crystal, and a touch of Honey malt, this golden hued IPA is aggressively hopped with Simcoe and Citra hops. A big juicy, tropical fruit hop nose yields way to an off dry, pleasantly bitter finish. Drink up while you can, the Rude Parrot is flying circles around you!

Can while playing Chambers Bay. Pours a light amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aromas combines sweet grains with a light pine note and a bit of caramel underlying. Flavor is similar with a pine bitterness and a growing sweet grain backbone.

Tap at Watering Hole. Stinky tropical fruit, quite sharp aroma, taste is initially bitter but later on the malt takes over. Good stuff, caramel, little spice. Good. Like it.

Toranomon summer tasting, thank you Jonathan. Light amber pour with some foam. Nose has caramel, marmalade and some faded hops. Feels a tad bit tired. Tastes better, medium body and still lots of bitterness left. Decent and hits the spot.

Can from Tanakaya. Drank straight from the can. Pine, orange and some light tropical fruit in the nose. Pithy, scratchy bitterness on the palate with juicy fruit. Bitter finish that lingers. Very drinkable, but a little on the bitter side.

Orange with a white head. Aroma is malty citrus with a toasty edge. Flavor is similar with an overriding metallic tinge. That metal really gets in the way of the enjoyment. It almost gives it a rusty note. I’m not picking up the big juicy citrus they talk about. Middle of the road.

Light amber and with a thin head. Rich sweet tropical fruits, and a sweet fruity, honeyed taste with just a slight bit of malt toastiness. Pretty good balance.

Draught at Taphouse Grille, Seattle
Amber color, clean. Resiny hops aroma, some caramel flavor, lean mouthfeel, strong ending bitterness, with light hop resins and light fruitiness. Pleasant.
