Tap @ Borefts 2014. Deep dark brown color. Red wine in the aroma. Licorice, roast and red wine in the flavor, lingering on in the aftertaste. Some questions about the balance, but a very nice beer.

On tap @ Borefts 2014. Not much of a head on this one. Only a bubbly translucent thing sticking to the sides of the glass. The beer itself is a deep dark cola brown one. Licorice aroma. Slightly dark casky malty with hints of salt and leather. A bit strange. Makes me wonder what kind of beer this actually is. Tastes really nice. A really roasted rye like darkness. More licorice, the dry kind. Leather jacket with traces of alcohol. In the mouth it's almost like a cask conditioned ale. Flat and gliding. Drymouthing aftertaste with hints of of cold coffee. A bit strange. Not sure if the barrel has done it any real good. 27.09.2014

Borefts VI. Keg. Clear deep red - amber beer. No head. Palate is light and dry. Bitterish toffee - caramel. Touch of woody something, a unidentifiable liqueur. Little spice. Bit clunky but okay.

Keg at BBF 6, 26/09/14. Extremely dark mahogany brown with no head. Nose is toffee, sweet tones, vanilla, chestnuts, brown sugar. Taste comprises earthy roast, hint of coffee, light woody BA effect, dark fruit tones. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but rather 1D and doesn’t deliver a lot for the ABV. Miss!
