0.33l can, courtesy of Kristine who brought this back to me from Tanzania. Big big thanks! Have to say that my expectations aren't sky high, but let's give it a go. Looks absolutely alright with a crystal clear pale golden body a big both lacing and lasting big white top. Doesn't smell all that much really. Some malty sweetness with traces if something slightly metallic. No really shockers in the taste either, and the carbonation level is average, while it has a thin oily mouthfeel. Really easy to drink, even if it doesn't taste all that much/good/exciting. Mary sweet, some light watery caramel and a little bit of corn. Big thanks for the Tanzanian lager Angel! 06.04.2013

500ml Bottle:found in a basket at the bottle shop in the National Brewery Museum at Burton-on-Trent (of all places), I wonder if Mr Coors knows what his staff are selling? Poured into a ’Veltins’ badged pilsner stemmed tulip glass three times: golden, clear and bright, a typical lager/pilsner in fact complete with the white head of fast fading bubbles on each pour. Grainy nose if any aromas at all, again typical of most beers within this style the world over. Dry hop bitterness and a refreshing feel to the initial sip, it become sweeter as the beer settles in the mouth. Not great, but pleasant enough and better than a lot of mass produced lagers from Europe (and elsewhere). A lager is a lager and this one was OK.

Yellow colour with a white head. Some fruity and metallic notes in the aroma. Light texture. Ok carbonation. Light grain and light hoppy. I think this one is really far better cold og at hot day at a safari. Rather than warm on a cold day in Norway :-)

Fra flaske på Traveller’s Lodge des-09: Man skal alltid forsøke de lokale produktene, men den gjør ingenting for meg. Servert kald nok hjelper den litt i varmen.
