The strongest Svijanský special, which we produce using traditional methods usual for the production of Czech beer, just like the lagers. Although it is very strong, it surprises at fi rst taste with its pleasantly full and bitter fl avor, inviting you to drink more.

50cl Bottle from Tesco Plzen. Clear deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of white sugar, fruity esters, alcohol, typical (cheap) strong lager. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, fruity, some alcohol, sugar, firm metallic bitterness in the finish. Light bodied. Not very nice imo.

(Bottle) Golden colour with lasting, frothy, off-white head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, slightly fruity nose with toffee, grass, buttery malt and tropical fruit. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of bread, grass, tropical fruit (pineapple), toffee and a generous grassy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain malt sweetness throughout. Solid and well made. Quite nice.
