30cl Bottle at home on 25th June 2014: poured into a Westmalle chalice. Chestnut red body, misty and almost clear in looks, the off-white head started thin and got thinner. Sweet malty nose and taste with some yeastiness and ’barley wine’ type pieces within both the aroma and flavours. Rich and heavy body feel, this is one good beer. The alcohol is almost hidden and overall the beer is lovely treat for me after some pretty poor ones on my little tasting evening with myself tonight.
