Bottle. Waitrose. Clear gold. Slim, white head. Nose has syrupy malts. Ginger biscuit. Touch of caramel. Some pungent, but unidentifiable hop. Taste is sweet and a little rich. Some decent bitterness adds balance. Rich and syrupy mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Bit of a dirty bitter finish.

Bottle best before March 2019, drunk 2/21/18.
Clear, bubbly, auburn-amber. Beige head fades steadily to a ring.
Caramel malts are joined by light cherry and raspberry notes from the specialty malt? Or perhaps interplay of hop and specialty malt. Almost gives it an amaretto-like character. Light herbal hops grace the finish and it's quite clean and enjoyable.
Malty, fruity and fairly soft for an industrial beer. Flavors seem real and clean with a bit of to-be-expected, fizzy carbonation. Sweetness isn't saccharine-like or cheap/fake tasting and you do actually get light hop bitterness. No flaws noted, which is impressive, nor any alcohol.

Just a leetle bit of foam and some soft carbonation, dark yellow on the liquid. Soft sugary wood aroma. Flavour is heavy cloying syrup, tin, ground coffee beans. Sharp finish. No balance here, cringey amount of booziness.

Bottle from Waitrose. Golden in colour, with a lacy, white, head.Metallic aroma with some stone fruits and tired hops. Flavour had ripe, sweet, malts, a hint of stone fruits and ended with a boozy, moderately, bitter finish. An average strong lager.

0.5 l bottle. Exp. date passed. Shared with Marko. Clear golden, small to medium off-white head. Fake malty aroma and cardboard. Sweet. Perfumed. Light to medium body, moderate to high carbonation, light finish. Hope it's better fresh.

50cl bottle. Pours crisp gold with relatively irregular white foam, medium-high but fading. Aroma is weak grassy and grain. Body is average with good carbonation. Taste has some sweetness but bitterness dominates. Finish is relatively long and bitter, but not pleasant.

Bottle at Pizza Express while celebrating my 11 year old daughter's birthday. A nice dark colour in the glass and a minimal head. No nose that I could detect, but I was full of garlic from the dough balls. The flavour was very caramely and malty. In fact it reminded me of the smell from the cans of malt syrup that my father used in his home brew in the early 1980s. It's amazing what can trigger memories. Anyway, to me it tasted artificial and just too sweetly malty - if that is an actual description. Not one to have again.
