Bottle picked up from Bernard Nieder Getränkemarkt in Attenkirchen and consumed in Frank (Camper) at Maurach, Lake Achensee, Tyrol, Austria. Pours gold with a white head, malty from the off, sweet, a little mineral, a touch of honey. I quite like this.

330ml bottle. Cloudy amber colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Unspecific fruity, hoppy aroma with leaning to red berries and cherry, malty background with a marzipan touch. Taste is fruity hoppy and sweet-ish malty, hints of marzipan, a touch of red berries; a bit anaemic overall, slightly watery passages.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Hazy deep golden, mid sized head. Bready nose. Sweet with well sized body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Doughy and lightly floral. Mid bitter finish. Rather sweet and heavy.

Deutlich würziger Antrunk, getreidig. Würzig und süffig bleibend, milde passende Herbe. Frisch, dennoch würzig, etwas ledrig. 11/11/11/10/10/11

Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep, deep golden, a bit unclear, small persistent white foamy layer, moderate toasty-fruity nose with a distinctive hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium nodied; drier lingering herbal-hoppy and toasty-caramelly finish. A good, well balanced brew…

Deep golden color. Aroma is somewhat sweet and malty with butter and grain. Flavour has nettles, some sweet, grainy malt and hints of corn.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass also, a bit darker than exspected. Nice head. Starts fine malty-spicy, modest sweet, fine wheaty. Modest dry-sourish background. Well balanced finish and quite drinkable. Really nice!

(swing top bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, deep golden colour with a mid-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Bready and slightly biscuity cara-malty aroma with mildy herbal hoppy accents. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Hearty cara-malt character, again with bready notes, as well as traces of honey and a whiff of herbal hops; sweet and delicately bitter hoppy finish. Not bad for a Festbier. 08.VI.13
