Tasted august 2003, at the brewery. Glass poured by JP van Roy himself, straight from cask. Slightly cloudy, no head at all. Aroma has grapes, oak and citrus, the dustiness of the brewery. Immensely complex though young. Apple, honey, oak, lemon, sour cherries, marmelade, glue. Absolutely not too sour, but with a sharp edge. Great beer with enormous depth in aroma and flavor. Taster @ Borefts 2014. Golden blonde, cloudy. Sulphury citric aroma. Bretty. Complex flavor, sweetish, still sulphury. pineapple. lemon and oak.

Tasting from the ceramic pitcher, straight from the barrel. 2018 something straight lambic. May 27th 2019. At the brewery. Cloudy golden, small diminishing off-white head. Light acidity, light lemony fruity notes, some apricot, quite funky. Very light body. Tart. Quite dusty. Very gentle, light finish. Soft carbonation.

Not as complex but still very good. This is what they use to blend into other gueuzes

Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 5 / 15 - - Draught at Lamiczoon, Milano.
Orange, medium hazy body, with a medium, frothy, off-white head.
Aroma of wood, green apples, pears, medium funk, basement.
Tastes similar, with some more horse blanket.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes long, medium dry, wooden, with pears, green apples, some basement.

Very nice. Basic stuff, with very nice wood and green apples, the funk is just moderate. Drinks very easy and fresh, while the finish is lovely, long and wooden.

From backlog. Hand pump @ 1420, Copenhagen (as Cantillon Young unblended lambic). Smooth, earthy and funky with some farmyard, sweetness and yeastiness. Easy going, not that sour yet.
