On tap at ACBF2017. Pours dark amber to brown with off-white head. Fruity, caramel, candy sugar, apples moderate sweetness and sourness. Medium bodied. Much better than some other Faros I've tried, still bit too sweet.

F: almost no real. C: deep gold to amber, hazy. A: light fruity, hint of barnyard, woody. T: sampled from tap at ACBF 2017, decently sweet with some tart notes, hint of basement, candy sugar, fruity touch, medium body, low carbonation, very good, quite sweet for me but for the style more than ok.

From hand pump @ Borefts 2014. This is a cloudy kinda copper colored one, only a translucent bubbly sidesticking thing on the top. Mild aroma - at least at first. It has tones of dry wood, mild gueuze and something almost fruity. Not any indication that this will be yet one of those over sweet and faros. It's not! At all! Oh, this is the first drinkable faro I've had! Cask-flat on in the mouth, as dead as they come really, but it has a nice gliding mouthfeel. Hard to describe what this tastes like. Definitely fruity. Sweetbreads apples in season with traces of both pear, a fair amount of wood and a little bit of sugar syrup. Yeah, this i could drink again and again. 26.09.2014

Deep copper color with no head. Aroma is woody funk, slight candied sugar. Taste is funky, candied sugar, nice complexity, easy drinkability. Flat. A good Faro.

Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Light hazy amber liquid with medium white head. Aroma of lemon, apple skin, raw sugar, raisins and light grain. Taste is light sweet and light to medium sour with notes of lemon, raw sugar and apples. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Really nice.

Draft @ beer temple. Golden pour. Aroma of horseblanket, creamy grain and candi. Tardy taste of barnyard, grain and old hop. With candi sugar, but nicely balanced and not overly sweet. Nice beer, especially for this style.
