Braukunst Live München 2015. Pours a yellow color with medium head. The aroma is sweet and fruity.

Orangegelbes Bier mit nicht vorhandener Schaumkrone. Geruch starkt nach Holzfass, Bourbon, alkoholisch malzig. Geschmack sehr fruchtig, Dörrobst, holzig.

Sampled at BKL 2014. Orange amber, low head. Honeyish, barrel aroma. Sweet malty, light sirup, berries, hop resin, not cloying though, light sparkly mouthfeel.

Fruchtig hopfiger Antrunk, leicht alkoholisch. Hefig, fruchtiger werdend, hell malzig, die Rumnoten kommen nicht stark hervor. OK. 11/11/10/9//9

Bottle. Clean caramel with a medium head. Aroma is mild caramel, fruity. Flavour starts with a zap, but mellows nicely to a fruity rum base, light bitterness, no sign of the alcohol, would go well with a cigar.

The bottle looks really, really good. Beer in the glass not too zippy, small head. Mild-malty aroma. Starts milder than exspected, fine hoppy-dry with fruity notes of lemon and apricot. Some alcoholic-sharp notes, not too much. The 9% alcohol is well hidden. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. A good beer, but some interesting hoppy notes disappeared during the barrel aging.
