Bottle from Bier-Advent Kalender, Switzerland; 6.4% ABV
Dark amber color, hazy, with compact head. The aroma is simple, as often happens for most Bocks, but it has a good body strength, the flavor is based on caramel, it’s moderately sweet, and it has a nutty character.
Pleasant Bock.

330ml bottle. Clear dark brown colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, off-white head. Dark malty, malt-spicy aroma, hints of roast, a nuttily touch. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, dry and bitter hoppy overtones; relatively light, slightly watery. Simple, slightly anaemic for a Bock but would pass as a decent Dunkel.

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a small, frothy off-white layer. Sweet, toast-malty aroma with notes of caramel, honey and a light herbal hoppy blend. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Good malty base with caramel and a light herbal spicy note in the background.; moderately sweet toasty finish with a delicate roasted and hoppy bitterness. Not a very complex but likeable Bock.

Bottle (Dank an Jonas !!!): Mahagony coloured, small, slowly diminishing off-white head; delicate sweet caramelly-malty nose with traces of dark berries and hops; moderate sweetish flavour with a light bitterness in the wings, medium bodied; sweetish-caramelly finish with lingering hoppy traces. An easy drinkable, rather pleasant Bock, no gem........
