Süffiger, leicht süß-getreidiger Beginn. Helles Malz, moderate, zum Mittelteil ansteigende Herbe, spritzig. Weich, rund, etwas hopfig, langer Nachhall. Nett. 8/10/10/10/9/10

Deep gold with a white head that soon goes thin and creamy. Mild caramel aroma with herbal and grassy undertones. Taste is bittersweet, the malty caramel sweetness balanced by a mild, grainy bitterness. Medium body. Simple but decent.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelgoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, würzig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack malzig fruchtig, getreidig, leichte Bitterkeit.

The bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, zippy, nice head. Starts malty, fine spicy, not very dry. A bit grasy-moldy without being too much. Finish still malty, spicy, wheaty. Not bad!

500ml bottle. Clear copper colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Grainy, aroma, some caramel. Taste is minimally sweet, caramel malty, slightly grainy, cautious dry hoppy touch. Slightly above average.

Golden color, white head. Sweet malty scent. Malty, apple, alcohol taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. A bit harsh aftertaste.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and light toasted malty. Caramelish and light toasted. Mild bitter and light grassy. Caramelish and light bitter finish.

Bottle (courtesy of Stefan !): Deep golden, bigger stable rocky beige head with a little lace; solid sweet-grainy nose with a dash of toasted malt and distinctive herbal hops; solid sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; solid (toasted) malt and traces of hops in the finish. Very pleasant brew.....

(bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck) Clear, deep golden colour with a mid-sized, light-beige foamy head. Sweet caramel-malty and slightly nutty aroma with light but noticeable herbal hoppy accents. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation and a well-matured mouthfeel. Slightly toasted cara-malty and slightly bready taste with herbal notes; moderately dry sweet-bitter finish with an elegant malt character and light but balancing herbal hoppy notes. Balanced and well-crafted brew (18.08.08).
