Rated as Deutscher Orden Edelsud. Many thanks to kevnic2008. The beer starts malty and fresh. Slightly grainy-sweetish. Not much bitterness. Sweetish-grainy, easy to drink session beer.

330ml bottle. Clear dark golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Intense grainy aroma, a bready touch. Taste is grainy, dry husky. Nothing to talk about.

Bottle (purchased at the brewery): Golden to deep golden, loose White head that slowly collapses, sweetish-grainy nose with bisquity traces and a Little touch of hops; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, hardly medium bodied, relatively soft; sweetish-malty finish, followed by a light, but increasing bitterness in the very end. Just O.K. ...

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Mildly bready cara-malty aroma with hints of butter and a touch of spicy hops. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Bready and slightly sugary cara-malty taste with hints of biscuits and traces of honey; rather sweet and restrained bitter finish with shades of herbal hops. A bit on the sweet side but still likeable. 10.VI.13

Bottle looks good, a bit complex. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts malty, modest dry, some woody notes. Finish more spicy. Quite drinkable. Okay.
