180ml bottle @ Belgobaren, Stockholm. 2010 vintage. Loads of aged stout notes, hints of oak and wood, some licorice, molasses and syrup. Past its prime, but not bad.

19.04.2014, 0,18l bottle (#1111 bottle on 27.08.2009) @ Belgobaren:
Nice light brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is very strange, something salty fishy broth kind of thing, gunpowder, licorice, grass, oak, burnt rubber, alcohol, dark malts, dark sugar, rotten fish, hay. Taste is sweet oaky, dark sugar, oak, alcohol, grass, almond essence, vanilla, hay, dark malts, ashtray, cocoa, whisky, caramel, burnt coffee, licorice. Longlasting bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Not really my cup of tea.

Bottle @ ZZT XI. Opaque very dark brown to black color, virtually no head. Aged bottle, 2010 apparently. Aroma is malts, roast, liquor. Malts, alcohol, liquor, bitter. Wow, incredibly tasty still. I love it!

Black colour, diminishing white head. Aroma of caramel, sherry, apple, molasses, soy sauce, roasted malts. Sweet malty flavour, chocolate, brown sugar. Finish molasses, caramel, madeira, porto wine, milk chocolate. Aged rather nicely, but wonder how it would’ve aged in a bigger bottle.
(from 18cL bottle @ ZZT XI, Oirschot. Bottle nr 689, bottled 2010. Bedankt voor het delen, Joris!)

bottle ( 18 cl ) 437/ 1440 , thanx to kermis ! brewed 16-12-2009 , bottled 13 - 05 -2010 . back then i didnt even drink craftbeer lol :p pours very dark, near black. good foam ( brown) that fades , but leaves a good layer . smell is quite heavy, roasted malts, bitter. soft, sharp carbo. waaw ! best porter i had for sure. why not call this a imperial stout ? a rather light mouthfeel, but still very nice. carbo is low, but sharp. just the way it should be ! bitter, roasted malts. coffee, redicolously drinkable? 12,5 ABV ? this drinks away like a lager. there’s some ’ hidden ’bitterness in this, also get bread notes ( grains?? ) very sweet. leaves a sticky backfeeling, and a very , vey low alcohol warmth . but its there . has notes of coffee as wel. very complex, much is going on in there, yet its so easy to drink.. again, another ’old’ de molen beer that is redicolously awsome. is it that they get so much better with age? or is has de molen realy got so much worse?
