Ich kann mich noch erinnern, wie ich diese Flasche in einem kleinen Geschäft im tiefsten, kalten Winter 2013 in Šeštokai an der litauisch-polnischen Grenze gekauft habe, da ich dort eine halbe Stunde auf einen Anschlusszug warten musste (Litauen hat russische Breitspur - Polen Normalsspur). Dieses Dunkle wird mit 4 Sorten Malz gebraut, welche aber erst im Abgang durchkommen. Ein recht vollmundiges Bier, das mir persönlich aber ein bisschen zu süß ist.

On my label is 5.8% vol. brewed at Kalnapilis. Bottle. Dark haze, nice beige creamy head. Nice roast, caramel, nutty.

Small beige head. Deep amber body, barely translucent. Earthy herbal oily aroma with chocolate and alcohol notes. Dryish roasty earthy licorice taste with syrupy coffee notes. Light body. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish roasty licorice and chocolate aftertaste with dusty earthy notes. Some butter, too. Very nice, and quite subtle. Easy to drink. (0.33l bottle, Bamb Alyne, Vilnius.)

dark clar nutty brown almost no head. aroma is sweet floweryt. flavor is caramelly, t6offe , ends toffee faint bitter.
