Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear nutty brown with a creamy, beige head. Nutty, molasses aroma. Medium body, lightly sweet molasses, toasty, faint roast. Lovely. 011225

zufällig gefunden in einem Bierlokal in meinem Herkunftsdorf und schon etwas alt im Geschmack.
Es ist ein süffiges 🍻 Dunkles, das nicht zu süß ist und leicht rauchig ☁️ ist.
Kein Top-Bier 🎩, aber durchaus ok.

Wunderschöne kastanienbraune Farbe; feinporige und stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase sehr malzbetont, Schokolade und etwas Honig. Im Geschmack viel Malz, leicht süßlich, mittlerer Körper, präsente Bittere, verwässert im Nachtrunk ein wenig. Insgesamt stimmig.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty, light roasty notes. Mild bitterness in the background. Finish well balanced, light metallically notes, not too much. Well balanced finish. Really nice!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlichbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht röstmalzig, leicht würzig, Karamell, leicht schokoladig.

Euro2-Flasche(Danke, Sabine!): Copper coloured, not completely clear, small stable off-white foamy layer, not overly sweet bready-caramelly nose with a barely detectable bitterness; moderate sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; short sweetish finish. One-dimensional brew, not really convincing…

Bottled 500ml (BB 01/2014)
Deep clear amber color, small off-white head. Bready almost a bit worty aroma. Caramel and grassy notes too. Light bodied. Caramel, grass kind of grainy flavor. Quite lame, straightforward flavor. Perhaps with food, otherwise meh.

Bottled (thanks McTapps!). Amber colour, beige mediumsized head. Aroma is floral, bready, some slight herbal notes as well as quite sweet syrupy and caramelly notes. Flavour is caramel, some floral notes, a bit syrupy sweetness as well. Mild bitterness in the finish. Quite mellow and balanced dunkel.

(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Nutty and mildly toasted malty aroma with notes of caramel and hints of sugar beet molasses. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly bready and toasted malty taste with caramel and distinctive nutty notes; a bit slim sweet-bitter toast-malty finish with notes of caramel and a vaguely herbal hoppy touch. 26.XI.13
