(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Biscuity and mildly bready caramel-malty aroma with a tinge of honey and flowery hops in the background. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a modest carbonation. Bready (cara-)malt-character with notes of biscuits and honey, accompanied by flowery and delicately herbal hops; sweet-bitter and balanced malty and mildly herbal hoppy finish with caramel and floral accents in the aftertaste. The alcohol is quite well muted. Nice pale Bock. 26.XI.13

Bottle from trade with McTapps, many thanks, Sabine. Golden color with medium white head. Sweet malt, floral notes, honey in aroma. Taste, sweet matl, bee wax, honey, spices, some fruitiness. Very light bitterness in sweet finish. Alcohol is dangerously hidden. Good.

Clear golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, fruity alcoholic nose. Sweet malty, quite bready and alcoholic with fruity and grainy notes. Alcohol is noticable but well balanced. Slight sweet finish. Ok bock.

Dark-golden beer, with good white head. Bready, malty and alcohol, more maltcharacteristic to this brewery than to Bocks in general. Sweet, alcohol, and again very characteristic maltflavour. The alcohol is partly, but uncompletely hidden: the sweetness is telltale. In the finish, I even get grainspirit. Alcoholic warming, strong but not really heavy bodied. Decent Bock, maybe a bit commercial. Thanks to Seb.
