Noble and strong, that's how beer connoisseurs describe the Hoepfner Maibock. Creamy foam, malt-emphasized flower, full-bodied taste with subtle hops.

0,5 l bottle, thanks a lot to Kristall-König. Clear golden with a medium white head in the glass. Looking good. Malty with some grain on the nose. Taste starts malty, followed by a more caramell sequence, smooth, some grain and grass, also mid alcoholic. Could be a little bit more fruity but nice.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Malty-spicy aroma. Starts strong but not too alcoholic. Quite spicy-malty, light sweetish. Very well balanced. Quite drinkable with a nice spicy aftertaste, mild sweetness. Good maibock!

Pours a golden color with a small off white head. Nose is lightly spicey with some malty notes. Palate is medium and finishes clean. Flavors of light malt and honey with some light dark fruit notes.

8/8/9/10/11/9

(bottle)Clear, golden colour with a thick and dense foamy white head. Aromatic herbal hoppy nose with hay and a moderately sweet pale malt-character in the back. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a pleasantly smooth mouthfeel. Good malt-character, light grainy with herbal and slightly spicy hoppy notes from the beginning; medium-dry, malty finish with rounded herbal hoppy accents. Balanced Maibock (18.04.07).
