Hoepfner Jubelbier is mashed in the 2-mash decoction process, almost completely fermented and stored for four to six weeks until it is mature. We use the unique Hoepfner yeast and a more roasted malt with a light caramel aroma ("Munich malt").

0.5l botlle. Clear orange body, thin off-white head. Aroma of orange zest, caramel, orange zest, brad and honey. Taste of bread, honey, caramel and some floral hops. Pretty cool märzen :-)

0,5 l botte from Kristall-König, so far as I remember. Thanks a lot! Clear red golden in the glass, mighty white head. Grassy malt with some sweetness on the nose. Taste starts more flat malty and caramell, some fruity like apple in the background. Getting more intensive in the second part, also increasing hop. Mid bitterness. Okay.

On tap the at the brewpub in Karlsruhe . 22/07/2015 Three days after the Etape du Tour. Aroma is sweet jammy fruits, toast, honey/ Amber orange coloured pour with a thin off white head. Flavour is composed of light toast, toffee, raisin, jammy fruit, berry, honey, whiskey. Palate is semi sweet moderate carbonation, semi dry finish. Middle of the road.

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is ripe fruits, quite much bready malts, mild rye as well as some toffee and toasted notes. Flavour is a bit bock like with strong malts, a bunch of sweetness as well as quite strong bitterness for being a dunkel.

Flasche von kevnic2008, vielen Dank! Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, Karamell. Geschmack sehr malzig, würzig, süß, Karamell, minimal hopfig.

Weich hefig-getreidiger, leider ziemlich laffer Beginn. Gering würzig, dann hefiger werdend und sehr spät auch etwas würzig, insgesamt aber entäuschend. Laff, langweilig, schlecht. 10/6/9/7/11/6
