Draught. Golden colour with a white head. Sweet malty aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweet malty flavor with some hints of caramel. Dry malty grassy finish.

(On tap) Clear, fully golden with a creamy, off-white head. Hoppy nose. Solid, malty body with a dry, lightly hoppy finish. A solid Maibock indeed. 190506

2006-05-01, draught at the brewpub, 5.9% ABV, 7-4-7-3-15=36
Hazy amber color. Very nice aroma of malt, caramel, hops. Medium body strength, full malty, strong caramel, quite strong bitterness, partially aromatic. Very pleasant.

2003-05-10, draught, as Herning Maj Bock, 5.7% ABV, 7-4-7-4-13=35
Golden color. Quite nice hop and malt aroma, like a Pilsner, but less interesting than the Apollo Pilsner; strange mouthfeel, dryer, with some more complexity at the end, lacking a better hop character.

Draught at brewpub. Alas you can taste Sct Clemens bad yeast in this brew. It smells of sour milk. The taste is not good either, very alcoholic and short finsih. OK lasting head and nice yellow colour. Good creamy palate.

A hazy orange beer with a fine steady head. The aroma is sweet with notes of anise and brewmash. The flavor is sweet with notes of anise, alcohol, and brewmash. An OK beer without being fantastic.

Sampled draught at the Danish Beer Festival.
Deep golden. Completely dominated by sweet malt flavour. A bit mellow in body. Rather low bitterness.
