Bottle 0.5l, trade with Camons, thanks. Jet black, opaque. AROMA- roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, strong aroma of leaves and wood, something like tobacco leaves. FLAVOR- dry, really bitter finish, very strong and harsh flavor of bitter dry leaves and bark is overwhelming everything else... Fuller bodied. Not very tasty.

Bottle. Black. Malt, roast, hints of fish (!) and coffee in the aroma. Malty sweet coffee flavor with hints of salted licorice. Thinnish. Not unpleasant.

Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, a little tired. Some dark malt cream. Little licorice bitterness. Light tabgy finish. Inoffensive and no obvious flaws, just dull unfortunately.

Bottle at Gitta’s. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruit, hop, wood and light citrus fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Finish is dry and roasted. Enjoyable.

Literally black, smaller stable tanned head; solid dry and bitter leathery, coffeeish and toasty nose, some lost caramel in the background; solid dry bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied and a bit tart; moderate to solid dry malty-bitter and mainly coffeeish finish with a faint sweetness in the very end. A very beery espresso. Delicious…

At a tasting, thanks, creamy bubbly brown slightly dense head, very dark brown color, aroma of vanila, dates and dark toasted bread, flavor of chocolate, charred wood and charred aubergine, a tad on the light side. A bit bland and one dimensional, fair.
