A cloudy, peach yellow beer, a head is big and blond. The great aroma has mangos, grapefruits, some papaiyas and mandarin. Taste has tropical fruits, lots of grapefruits, also some pine needles. Quite strong bitterness. Medium bodied, the bitterness slows down a drinkability. Good and strongly hopped beer, not so fresh as the best IPA could be.

Purchased at Ølbutikken in Copenhagen, DK, enjoyed from my hotel room after visiting Mikkeller & Friends which was awesome. Appearance is a light cloudy gold with a moderate white head that nicely laces to the glass. Aroma of light pine and grapefruit, smell is decent. Taste is also decent, goes down bitter, grapefruit is the prominent flavor. It's good, nothing outstanding, but good.

On tap. Pours a hazy gold with light head. Aromas of light grapefruit, light malts and candy sugar. Flavors of citrus, light pine, and a bit of honey and bitter toffee. A session IPA though ABV is high.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of citrus and hops, with mild fruity notes. Sweetish, fruity onset, giving way to bitter, hoppy notes, leading to a citric finish. Lingering, acidic aftertaste. Nic but a trifle too sweet for a hard core IPA expected to be enjoyed by the rough executioner on the label.

Keg at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours cloudy gold with a wimpy, white cream head. The nose has aged hops, pine needles, lemon rind. Medium sweet flavor with crackery pale malts, bitter pine needles, more citrus rind, some pith. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with some hop resin, pale bread, more crackers, lemon, slight perfume, grapefruits, melon. This beer was probably pretty decent when it was fresh. Still OK but definitely faded.
