Very hazy amber beer with a good pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy and minerally crisp. Light airy malt cream. Good orange and tangerine hops with lesser pine and lemon. Minor hop spice. Light creamy finish. Tasty and very drinkable.

Pours gold with a fading head.Nose shows floral, fruity and spicy hops along with a fair whack of sweet malt and soft wheat.Very dry flavours, some pine and resinous hops along with grainy wheat followed by an aggressive, sharp, bitter finish.Nice light body, carbonation could be higher though.

500ml bottle. Minimalliest cloudy golden colour with average, frothy,, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Intense fruity hop aroma, passion fruit, grapefruit, a touch of mango, some pine, cautious herbal overtones. Taste is piney hoppy, minimally soapy, bitter, subtle fruity hints of grapefruit, tangerine; minimally astringent and chalky.

From a 500ml bottle on 23/9/2013. Pours a slightly hazy light golden with a biggish head. Has a pleasant, relatively light, fresh, fruity, hoppy aroma. There’s not much malt in evidence, but it’s very fruity, with citrus dominating with some distinct tropical in there as well (mango and pineapple). The bitterness is quite intense, with the grapefruit notes ultimately prevailing over the sweetness. The body is medium to full and the carbonation average. A very nice IPA.

50cl bottle, picked up at Bierzwerg, pours with a clear pale gold body that has a very slight haze and supports a nice lasting near white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up sweet lemon custard as well as mint, herbally notes and a touch of lemon grass earthiness. Interesting. The taste is big and juicy with a mix of malt sweetened grapefruit and lemon grass to go along with a snippet of earthy tea. Man, this has loads of juicy flavor going from citrus right into mild earthy tea notes that go oh so well together. Digging this!

Fra fat på Fermentoren juli-13: etter mange middelmådige ipa’er i dag fremstår denne som frisk og balansert. Slank i kroppen for såpass voltstyrke. Fin ettersmak. Mon tro hva kveldens siste blir? Fra fat på Cardinaltreff des-13:mmm, deilig humleprofil uten å være påtrengende. Tørr finish gjør den meget konsumeringsvennlig.

Draught@CPH BF 2013. Amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma is fruity, floral and a bit earthy and herbal along with slight sweet maltyness to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, some slight toffee along with herbs and earth. Balanced, but also a bit thin in the body.

Hazy blond color, creamy head. Aroma of citrusy hops and some manure. The mouthfeel is dry but also a bit rounded; some toffee flavor, the malt has vegetables notes; with extreme hopping, very resiny, a bit fruity; very strong bitterness.
Actually, the malt profile doesn’t fit well with the hops, and indeed it’s unbalanced.

On tap at Fermentoren, pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of piney hops, resin and big caramel malts. Flavour brings out rich resinous hops, juicy caramel malts, and bitter citrus zest. Very juicy and full of both hops and malt. Quite bitter but also very juicy. Great IPA.
