Launched in 2001. It delivers a refreshing crisp smack around the gills. It pours a pale golden colour and the malty sweetness is well balanced by the Chinook and Centennial hops.

Bottle. Pale amber with a white head. Aroma of oranges, peach and a little pine. Taste is much more grapefruity, with hay, peach and oranges. Quite dry at the end with firm bitterness. The hops don’t shine quite as much as they ought in the aroma, but it’s pretty good.

Bottle at the Long Dock, Carrigahalt, 05/12/14. Golden amber with a decent beige covering. Nose is citric sherbets, bitter orange, hoppy waftings, straw, light pine. Taste comprises grapefruit, straw, pine needle, orange pith, chalky minerals, apricot. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid hoppy number, surprised to see such a low score for this one, freshness issues?

This brew is a slightly hazy amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Light-bodied with a mildly bitter hops character and notes of grainy malt and fruit in the background. The finish is lightly hopped with a short fruity aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Bottled at L. Mulligan Grocer, Dublin. Hazy deep golden, rich head. Hay-like hop aroma. Mid sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Lots of hay, salty bitter finish. Nice hop flavour. but too clean and shallow malt character.
