Amber Ella herself is big, fruity and hoppy, an American amber ale, balancing a deep burnt toffee malt base with bitter tangerine and pine needle hop aromas. Don’t resist her, Amber Ella will bring out the free spirit in you!

In my opinion, it is an average beer, not really an amber and it sounds more a pale ale, hoppy, bitter and dry, a bit watery, refreshing, 13.08.18, at the Mayens d'Arbaz with Fred, buying it through Qoqa.ch

Bottle at home. Slight hazy dark amber with off white head. Lots of resin, toast, toffee, burnt sugar, grapefruit and marmalade. Very oily bitter with light roasted bitter finish and underneath just a light sweetness. Medium bodied with slick oily feel.

Bottle @ home. Hazy amber color, full sized a bit foamy off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, a hint of caramel, lightly hops, a hint of leaves, the slightest hint of raisins. Taste malts, very bitter, lightly hops. Medium body and firm carbonation. Solid beer, but you’ll only like it if you’re into very bitter beers.
