Nosferatu (Bird of Death) a.k.a. Count Orlok was THE German Count Dracula. He was a blood-sucking vampire, but being German he must’ve enjoyed beer too, right? We believe it is so and thus have created a Black Pumpkin Wheat Ale in his honor...a ’beer noir’ if you will.

Bottle. Pours a deep brown with a one finger tan head and aromas of pie spices and a bit of decaying leaf matter. Flavor has a heavy handed pie and pumpkin flavoring that buries any of the dark malt that tries to express itself. A hint of roasty malt is about it here. Decent but not my favorite.

Bottle. Brownish black with a solid head. Aroma is cinnamon and spice. Flavour is ginger, some pumpkin, yeasty on a burnt finish. Made a stew with this, worked really well

Pour is a black with a large tan head. Aroma is a nice pumpkin pie spice. Flavor is a decent roasted malt with some cinnamon and nutmeg. Finish has some vanilla and roast with pumpkin pie spice. The pumpkin is not as in your face as some pumpkin beers but this is still tasty with a nice malt profile along with a follow up pumpkin pie spices.
