Black Magic Woman is a Stout.

Black Magic Woman is our interpretation of a unique stout with peat-smoked malt. This is a real “man’s beer”, with a lot of everything. It is brewed with roasted barley malts, birch-smoked malt, peat-smoked malt, caramel malts and ale malt. It is well-hopped in order to balance the hearty malt profile. Black Magic Woman is an excellent accompaniment to desserts, dark chocolate, strong cheeses. It is also allowed to drink it on its own, while relaxing in a good armchair watching a football match.

Jet black, very dark mocha head. Huge robust charred malt aroma. Notes of dark soy, charred coffee, nuts and some burnt tobacco. Super thick mouth feel soft carb. Very bitter finish with more roast, and some green piney hops.

Smell of coffee, licorice. Black colour, tiny brown head. Aroma of ashy malt, coffee. Some Black IPA like qualities here. Ashy dry palate. Medium carbon. Very bitter.

A black beer, a head is small and brown. Aroma has liquorice, dark and dried fruits, some peat and salt liquorice. Taste has liquorice, roastiness, peat, balanced sweetness of maltyness. Full bodied, not stickyness. I like this, nicely rough and powerful.

Bottle 0.5l, trade with Camons, many thanks! Black colored. AROMA- roasted malts, chocolate, liquer, pralines, a bit peaty. FLAVOR- smooth, slightly sweet, lightly bitter, lightly warming, roasted malts, chocolate, pralines, peaty. Medium to fuller bodied. Very good.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with a big dark brown head. Aroma has lots of roast, light ashy notes, tobacco, caramel, licorice, dark chocolate. Taste is roasty, bitter dark chocolate, ash, fudge, malts, licorice, light smokiness, dry bitter finish.

500ml bottle (thx, Chris S.!) shared at Ilya's. Pours a very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma is inky, smokey, roasted malt. Similar taste. Quite dry. Nicely balanced. Good one.
