En svært mørk russisk imperial stout, brygget med pilsnermalt, sjokolademalt, karamellmalt, røstet bygg og havre. Humlen er Northern Brewer og Chinook. Alegjær gjør dette brygget veldig tungt og fyldig.

11.2oz bottle. Deep viscous black, with a nasty two gloops of coagulated loogie nastiness at the end of the pour. Not much on the hop front, all roasty chocolate bitterness. Very true to style in a classical way. Coffee, roast black chocolate. OK.

Tap Pitch black colour with small head.Aroma is vinious and fruity with taste of plum and dry fruits,nice smooth flavor with hint of licorice and burnt wood well bbalanced and creamy finish.

Black. Aroma has some vanilla and liquorice. Very thick texture. Lots of toasted, dark malts and some liquorice. Very rich.

Bottle at Black night 10/2015. Aroma rich malty, dried fruits, caramel, chocolate, toasted. Very dark colour. Seems rather resemblant to an imperial brown. Rich maltiness, toasted, caramel, nutty, dried fruits. Surprisingly easy drinking, moderate carbonation. Excellent beer.

Bottle at Black night, kindly donated by Cunningham, many thanks. Very dark brown color with medium beige head. Coffee, caramel, roasted malt in aroma. Taste, caramel, sweet coffee, dried fruit. Taste, roasted malt, caramel, dried fruits. Very good.

Bottle. Pours black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of bitter dark grains with a touch of roasted malts and a touch of coffee. Flavor has lots of dark grains with a bitterness, some roasted malts and a hint of dark chocolate.

A black beer, a head is very small and light brown. Aroma has bready maltyness, liquirice, sweetness and only low roastiness, hint of hop oil. Taste is rich, coffee, some bread, roasted end. Alcohol isn’t taste but still it’s there. Almost full bodied, low carbonation. This IS isn’t inspirating, too bready.

Bottle. Black oily pour, brown head. Fantastic aroma of coffee, roasted malt and salmiak. Taste of salty licorice, coffee, creamy milk and roasted malt. Velvet mouthfeel. This is great.
