"Kühbacher Pils", Fläschchen von Getränke Hörl, Altomünster, daheim verkostet am 27.4.2025. - Helleres Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase aromatische zitronige Hopfung, nicht so knackig wie bei einem klassischen Pilsner, dafür fülliger. - Antrunk satt und kernig zitronig-fruchtig hopfenherb mit solider zitronenschaliger Bittere. Schüchternes helles Malz und ein Hauch von Honigsüße spielen kaum mit. Milder rezent, eher vollmundig als schlank. Im Abgang stattliche Bittere. - Solides süddeutsches Pilsner von simpler, robuster aber recht schmalspuriger Hopfung. Für eine bessere Bewertung fehlt es an Finesse.

On tap @ Artigiano in Fiera 2021. Il gusto al naso propende per l'orzo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo paglierino. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è discreto. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca riconosce impressioni di miele, pane cotto di recente, erbaceo e agrumi.

Bottle that I picked up from the brewery Getränkemarkt, Kühbach last weekend. Had this Friday 10th December 2021 listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6 Music, we had Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas for tea tonight. Pours gold, excellent clarity, mid sized white head atop. A solid example of a Pilsner, nice crisp bitterness, a little sweeteness slips in below. Fruity with a dry finish. Like this, simple, no nonsense Pils.

330 ml bottle. Clear golden, foamy head. Grassy floral hops, hay, grain, citrus, some pear and apple. Mild dry hoppy bitterness, malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy bittersweet finish. Nice.

bottle, bought at the brewery. Golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Resiny hop aroma. Light-bodied and elegant malty base, delivering aromatic grassy, reisny hops with a citrusy and floral touch.

(33cl bottle) Almost clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Aromatic, slightly sweet malty, minimal buttery nose with citrousy, herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, well-carbonated mouthfeel. Pale-malt-character, slightly grainy and buttery taste; dry and moderately bitter finish. Well-balanced, tasty Pilsener.
