From bottle. Grainy, malty and bready, sourdough. Malty sweetness, slightly bitter and sour. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry grainy malty finish. Sufficient as Weghalbe.

Klare strohgoldene Farbe, fingerbreite weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig malzig, leicht hopfig. Geschmack floral hopfig, würzig, leicht getreidig malzig, sehr einfaches Bier, süffig!

Bottle: Golden, stable lacy white head; grainy-strawy nose, sourish vegetables underneath; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, a bit sticky; grainy-strawy finish with a light bitterness in the aftertaste. Not good.....

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big foamy white head. Pale malty and slightly strawy aroma with shy herbal hops and a tinge of barnyard. Moderately sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Strawy malt character with a whiff of grains and again traces of barnyard; moderately sweet malty finish with muted hoppy notes. Decent Helles with a rural touch. 06.X.10

bottle, bought at the brewery in late 2006. Clear golden yellow, large head. Malty aroma. Very malty flavour with clear hints of grain. Malty and sweetsih, nearly no hops detectable. A good one.
