Krug-Bräu Carinator, Fläschchen von Keil, BT. - Dunkles Kupferrot, klar. (bottle, 33cl) Almost clear, ruby amber colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Deep malty and slightly toasty aroma with a touch of caramel, as well as nutty hints and herbal hoppy spice in the background. Sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Mellow malty start with nutty notes, caramel and a good hops balance with herbal spice, lingering into the sweet-bitter finish with caramel and herbal notes in the aftertaste. Good one. 24.VI.15

0,33 l bottle. A bright copper in the glass, two finger light beige head. Massive fine sediments. Malty on the nose, light toasted. Taste starts surprising hopy, some floral elements, malt in the background. Alcoholic and warming in the second row. Some sweetness, also sharp alcoholic bitterness. Long lasting aftertaste. Strong!
