Aroma of malt, some caramel, orange, Saison-ish yeast, apricots, hint of pine, tropical fruity notes, hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and faintly tart with a moderate to medium bitter finish. Has a Belgian thing going on. Not the most extreme DIPA, but it does have a depth to it.

Keg at Harajuku taproom. Pale cloudy yellow colour with small white bubbly head. Aroma is ultra fruity, pineapple, grapefruit and a bit of pine hops. Spiky in mouth. Taste is very fruity then you get lots of bitterness which fades into an almost sweet boozy finish. Great beer!

Bottle from COSTCO variety 6-pack. Pours darker orange, almost amber actually (these packs really seem to be heat damaged, normally it shouldn't have this colour). Some white foam on top. Nose has light fruity hops, soft malty base. Taste has more of that hop character, quite nice and smooth fruity bitterness. Nice body and easily drinkable beer. Light herbal bitterness lingering in the finish. Not bad but I do know for a fact that Suruga Bay can be much better.

Although two months past BBD, this bottle still has a lot of juicy characteristics left. Nice one.
