In the spirit of tenacity and camaraderie, Mettle was first created to highlight the milestone of our inaugural year as a brewery. With the intense dry-hop duo of Amarillo and Citra, this medium-bodied Double IPA beckons with aromatics of pineapple, mango, orange, and a hoppy dankness. A fusion of orange, melon, light pineapple, and a subtle pithiness round out the palate with a smooth, pillowy mouthfeel. We continue to brew Mettle in recognition of our devoted following of hopheads that have supported us from the very beginning.

Smell of cream, hops, oat. Hazy lemon colour, white head. Aroma of overripe fruit, oat, some booze and generic citrus. Medium carbon. Sweet.

Can in the garden, from J and B Craft Drinks, 24th July 24. Canned on 25th March, so not so fresh. Aroma is complex, candied fruits, citrus pith, melon. Taste is candied fruits, sticky pithy citrus, candied peel, melon, grapes, never too sweet, well balanced and very well made DIPA.

Can picked up at Kihoskh and drunk at home 02/06/2024 Medium sweet fruity hoppy mix of melon, grapefruit and tangelo, with some Stonefruit mango and nectarine coming in, sweet malty with a medium body and mouthfeel, robust piney hoppy balanced bitter finish. Really nice.

Can 473ml (Kihoskh) Original canning dates no shown. Hazy orange colour, small white head and lace. Soft juicy citrus and pineapple in the nose. Medium-bodied. Soft palate. Mango, pineapple, citrus with oaty maltyness. Even a bit peachy. Very balanced and highly drinkable.

Can from Vinspecialisten Randers. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich bitter hops, tropical fruits, flowers, malt and has a nice bitter fruity finish.

Canned, 473 ml shared with Max, Miro B and kajser27. Hazy yellow orange with white head. Hoppy, fruity, tropical, citrus, some grapefruit, grassy. Medium bitterness in finish, some sweetness. Smooth.

Canned. Hazy goldeny orange colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is citrus, some fruit, pine and mild oaty and nectary tones. Flavour is caramel, tropical fruits, grapefruit and some grassy tones with mild grainy tones.

Can, courtesy of Matt. Pours hazy yellow. Pineapple, guava, papaya, sticky tropical fruit, lightly perfumed. Nice full body. Good.
