A beer as unique as the place: The first and only Austrian beer with its own organic farm, malt house, roasting house and quality standards.
This pale, honey-colored specialty beer is brewed with the finest ancient Wildshuter grain, resulting in a balanced, full-bodied yet mild beer. Fresh notes of flowery yeast coupled with the flavor of Mühlviertel aromatic hops charm the nose. Velvety soft on the tongue while rounding off to a harmonious close, "Wildshuter Sortenspiel" leaves a long-lasting impression.

Bouteille(0.75l):Deep golden with an orangey sheen, mid-sized white head that slowly collapses, both sourish-fruity and honeyish-malty nose, a bit perfumed, too; mild sourish-sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; delicate sourish-grainy flavour. Drinkable, but no pleasure at all…

750ml bottle as Stiegl Wildshuter Haus Bier no.5, 5% abv, bought at Julius Meinl am Graben, Wien. Pours a loose white head over a hazy, yellow-gold body. Dry fruity smell added by grainy malts. Citrus and wheat in flavour followed by a touch of fruity tartness towards the ending. Sweet and soft in the mouth. So and so (shared with Liv and Kjell at the MS Rügen, 27.07.2012).
