Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Impressively bitter, but not much else. A bit buttery, a bit soapy too. But it’s obvious not much malts were used.

Bottle at home. Dark golden with a very light haze, fizzy white head that leaves a thin film of various sized bubbles. Lots of tropical fruits on the nose, smells promising. Aromas of mango, peach, lime, passionfruit, soft mineral notes, light lemongrass. Underlying light caramel and a sugary touch. Taste is light sweet with light to medium bitter finish. Under medium bodied with very dry finish. Nice beer! Great balance here.

At GBF. Dutch ISA with stable, creamy, snow white head and clear golden blonde colour. Aroma strangely has pickled gherkins, even Sauerkraut, white bread, flowers, white pepper; fairly neutral onset, clean fruitiness, shifting to a pleasant bready maltiness with a weird salty accent, almost reminiscent of Gose, and ending in a mild but aromatic, floral and spicy hoppiness. Unusual session IPA, that much is clear, but I liked it.

(Thx! for sharing) Sampled bottled @ Gents Bierfestival 2015. Hazy golden, solid white head. Nose is odd sweet oily pine resin, sweet citrus with some candy, peel, sugar. Taste is weird, watery, herbal, orange peel, sugar, candy,… Body is a bit watery. Too sweet, weak & watery for me. A define step back in my opinion from the non-session / old version.

Bottle @ home. Slightly hazy almost fluorescent orange color, medium to full sized off-white head that lasts for quite a long time. Aroma is lightly malts, very hoppy, fruit hops, fruity, citrus. Taste lightly malts, again very hoppy, some citrus, fruit hops, bitter hops and bitter. Decent body, a bit firm carbonation. - Edit: after a short while the aroma has changed from fresh, hoppy and fruity to a lightly hoppy, a bit vegetal nose. I had the aroma at a 9 and the beer at a 4.0 but this is not nice and not how it was in the past. Bummer..
