Bei der bernsteinfarbenen Köstlichkeit bilden dunkle Spezialmalze das Fundament für den kräftig-aromatischen Sommerhonig der Kasseler Stadtbienen. Die Malz- und Karamellnoten des Honigs gehen nahtlos in die ausgeprägten Akzente von Kara- und Chocolate-Malt über, während die meisterliche Hopfenakzentuierung die Tiefe des Raums erschließt. Das Bier, für das der Begriff „vollmundig“ erfunden wurde.

330ml bottle [as No 1 Amber Honey]. Minimally hazy, dark amber colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Flat, minimally sweet-ish, honey aroma. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, minimally sugary notes of honey, waxy hoppy overtones; watery passages. Monotonous, neither overly rich nor complex, rather restricted honey flavours, simple sugary honey sweetness, no floral or earthy nor whatsoever additional overtones.

26-11-16 // sample at CraftBeerMesse Mainz. Copper coloured. Dark malts with a light honey touch. Light hop bitterness. Caramel. Not that smooth.

Many thanks for this beer to Erzengel. Pours a cloudy orange color. Nose is fruits, caramel. Tastes sweet, slightly burnt toffee.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours hazy deep golden colour with a mid-sized good lasting off-white head. Aroma of yeasty fruits, herbs. taste of ripe banana, yeast, herbs, nothing special.

75cl-bottle from Hütt brewery shop. Cloudy orange in the glass. Sweetish nose. The beer starts sweetish grainy. Malty smooth with a nice and subtle honey sweetness. Dry malty, round and fresh, much more round than the N°2. Smooth but slightly grainy malty dry aftertaste with hints of subtle honey on the tongue. Nice.
