Tap pour into a goblet/mixed with can pour into pint glass. Appearance is opaque black with light sparkle at the edges of the glass (tap), clear garnett (can), finger-width foamy, beige head with good retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is of roasted malts. Taste is strong roasted malts, bordering on coffee, milder earthy hops. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, soft carbonation and mostly sweet finish as taste with mild lingering bitter. Overall, strong all around. Same in can as tap except for appearance.
