This double IPA is big, brewed with over 5 lbs per barrel of American and Australian hops, and packed with fruity, citrus, pine, and resin notes for a bold hop finish. Cheers!

Bottle. Poured a bit of an orange yellow. Lots of resin here and pine and slightly less accentuated citrus.

Cheers to my soccer club. Or what's left of it. The beer is just terrible, btw.

Pours dark amber with a white head. Heavily carbonated. Aroma of hops. Tastes like lemongrass. Palate includes resinous hops. Good beer.

12oz bottle from Wegman's, West Seneca. An attractive golden amber pour with a trace of cream head; malty aroma with some grapefruit in the background; lip smacking hops in the mouth, both fruity and resinous, but nicely balanced by the sweet malts; and a long bittersweet finish. A rather grown-up, mellow DIPA.

bottle - Amber-orange pour. The hop led aroma is citrusy with caramel malt in the background. The well hopped flavor includes grapefruit notes and caramel malt. Full bodied. There's quite a bit of sweetness for the style, but a lengthy hop finish too. Very good.

Bottle from Total Wine, Lynnwood
Amber color. As the color suggests, expects a beer strong in caramel, moderately sweet, with good body, and bitter orange peel.
Old style, but competently brewed.

12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney and resinous hops, red fruits, and sweet caramel malts. Flavour is along the same lines, with big resinous hops, sweet caramel malts and some pine. Sticky, medium sweet palate, with a nice resinous finish. Certainly not the best IIPA out there, but it's a well-made sweet one.

My father in law won some gift basket full of random ipas of which I gladly helped myself to the new ticks. Golden Amber frothy head. Nose is caramel and pine. Tastes of sticky pine sap, caramel, oranges, bitter lead littter. Sticky palate. Slightly sweet.

Not a bad DIPA, thick and chewy with a hefty citric-pine finish. Deep veins of caramel malt underline a solid, heavily hopped baseline, orange marmalade and toast leading up to a lengthy resinous, floral fade. Nose offers toasted malt on top of orange and hops, and the pour’s solid, fluffy white head atop a orange-gold body with decent lacing. Texture’s nice and thick. Wasn’t expecting much, but Sam Adams has a pretty good Double IPA on their hands.
