Onctueuse au palais et chaleureuse comme un bon feu de bois après une promenade en forêt, cette belle brune titre à 8% d'alcool.
Quatre malts et 2 houblons lui apportent sa couleur, son goût légèrement torréfié et sa douce amertume.

Sampled @ ZBF 15. Clear red-brownish color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a bit soapy, sweetish, some alcohol. No succes imo.

Strong dark ale with thick and creamy, moussy, yellowish white head and misty bronze colour. Aroma of peach, caramel, banana, biscuit, red apple; soft fruitiness in the taste, peachy, slight orangey fraîcheur, banana, candi sugary sweetness but not cloying and balanced with a somewhat dull, ’deep’ basic sourishness; somewhat ’fluffy’, smooth mouthfeel but a bit less ’full’ than I had hoped for, bittering toasted malts in the end, herbal hop bitterness and a hint of warming alcohol. In all, well made ’massieve ale’, but needs more body and character to truly distinguish itself.

Courtesey of Kraddel. 330 ml. bottle sampled. GUSHER. Dark brown, head fizzes away. Nose is sour berries, cold sour coffee, sour herbal,… Taste is mildly sour with some malt sweetness, ground, herbal coffee, grainy, touch soy yoghurt in a bad way. Body is thin & fizzy, dash soy cream. Doesn’t feel intentional.

Orangebraune Farbe, schöne große leicht beige Schaumkrone. Geruch nach reifen roten Beeren, viel Malz, etwas Hefe, Karamell. Geschmack kräftig malzig, sehr reife rote Früchte, leicht alkoholisch.

Gusher alert!
Cloudy red brown beer, big aery beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of liquorish, overripe banana, caramel, rotting fruit, bready yeast. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish, fruity note, some caramel, lots and lots of banana. Aftertaste: more banana, liquorice, spices, little bitter, caramel, sugary, alcohol burn, bitter chocolate, bit weird, overripe fruits. Not bad, but that typical weird thing that a lot of Walloon brown beers have, and I'm not very fond of it.
