Okay. 10/9/8/8/9/8

33cl bottle. Pours clear orange brown colour with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark smoked malt, caramel, chocolate. Taste of dark mild roasted malt, chocolate and decent smoked malt, good stuff!

330ml bottle. Barely clear, dark brown colour with ruby glimmer and average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimalyl lacing, beige head. Mildly smoky, caramel malty aroma, hints of dark chocolate, tomato based barbecue marinade, a touch of treacle.Taste is roasty dark malty, chocolately, notes of caramel, a touch of treacle, a cautious smoky touch, bitter hoppy overtones, light and rather watery. Takes its own way as a Smoked by laying a stress on roasty chocolately notes rather than explicit smoky flavours; overall a diffident approach in a promising direction.
