Backlog September 2011.Slightly unclear golden body under a small white head. Relativly mild aroma, sweetish malt, honey and spices. Taste is light malty, mild honey, low bitterness, spices and kinda fruity. Fine body with average aftertaste. Unusually but interesting.

19/06/2018 @home - 33cl bottle from the brewery Golden colour, medium white head. Nose is sweet malty, fruits, spices. Taste is sweet malty, banana, candi sugar, spices.

Thanks for sharing! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Kerstbierfestival 2017. Orange, little head. Nose is extremely heavy on Star anis, esters, orange peel, liquorice. Thin & fizzy, massive, massive star anis, liquorice, BE esters, yeast,… Way too big on star anis & fizzy.

Heldergeel bier met veel bezinksel. Smaak is licht bitter en licht zoet kruidig met iets van honing, vanille en banaan.

Pours very clear blonde. Smell is sweet, Wood, aromatic, bit malty, sweet. Taste is sweet, bit bitter malty, Sharp bitterness. Ok

Bottle shared. Hazy light floatery golden with a small off white head. Aroma of huge aniseed, not getting any saison aspects from this, just massive relentless unstoppable aniseed. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Unfortunately I do not like aniseed. Which this beer is all about.

Bottle from beergusto web shop. Hazy orange color with huge white head. Anise, oranges, caramel, yeast. Taste, malt, star anise, coriander, licorice, mint. Long spicy finish. Good.
