Bottle at home. Aroma is sweet chocolate, roasted malt, dried dark fruits, prunes, liquorice, tobacco, some coffee and vanilla. Flavour is rather heavy sweetness with some roasty bitterness in the finish. Body is full. Heavy beer, but only slightly boozy. Very good.

Well stored bottle. Pitch black body with a dense beige head. Aroma has dark malt and alcohol. Taste is hard roasted, dark malt, some coffee and dark chocolate, boozy. Fine body and strong in aftertaste. Without doubt some qualities here, but just too much alcohol to make it elegant, after several years in my cellar it still feels a bit raw and boozy.

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours pitch black with a medium dark brown head. Aromas of vanilla, sweet dark fruits, roast, chocolate. Taste is chocolate, roast, sweet dark fruits, dry.

Tap @ Wildeman. Black. Malt, roast and licorice in the aroma. Vanilla, caramel. Malty, very sweet caramelly flavor with roast and a hint of licorice. Smooth, Silky, low on carbon.

Bottle from Denmark courtesy of Gitta. Pours very dark brown with a good sized tan coloured head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, light spice and fruit cake. Medium sweetness and mediumtoadted bitterness. Full body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Really very good.

Bottle at home, 13th October 17. Pours black, some head. Aroma is liquorice, cocoa, caramel, vanilla, wood. Taste is bitter cocoa, liquorice, sweet chocolate, then biitter chocolate, wood, leather. Lovely .

Botella 50 cl en Cimmeria 05..10..2016 gracias Cimerios... (r148). Sin Fcpref y lote. Color negro intenso con poca espuma beige oscuro Aromas y sabores suaves ahumadosvtostados y acabando con ligero quemado y carbonizado al final, sobretodo al calentar. Ligeros cacaos y cafés. Ligero amargo final seco duradero. Cuerpo medio a intenso fino y líquido donde no se dejan notar mucho sus 12 vol. Bastante buena, sobretodo al final. Para repetir sin duda.

Draft. Jet black color, brown head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of burnt brownies dipped in burnt espresso. Taste is mostly cocoa and burnt toast, vanilla, toasted coconut. Tasty.
